I never went to the circus as a child but I did take my kids. But my favorite memory is before they came along, when I was on my honeymoon in Montreal. We walked out of our hotel and right into the middle of a parade of animals, the elephants were so impressive. They were being marche down the city strrets from a train to where they would perform and it was just so unexpected and so fun to watch.

One and only one time my town hosted a circus. It was fun watching the Big Top go up at our local fairgrounds. They enjoyed the circus.

I too am a big fan of Little Quilts. Thanks for the giveaway.

I just love the circus. Always have! I can remember fondly my parents taking my sister and I to see the circus. With spinning lights in hand, we were mesmerized by the lions and tigers, as well as the other acts.

As an adult, not much has changed for me. In our family, the circus is a time of great excitement. Each year my sister-in-law and her husband purchase circus tickets for the entire family. (That's 22 of us when we all can go!) 2009 will be our 9th year. My boys love going to the circus each year and its a great, fun way to celebrate being a family each year.

When I think about the circus and the one moment that stands out, comes thanks to my nephew who was 4 or 5 years old at the time. When asked about his favorite part of the circus, he thought, then replied...the pretty girls!
